You must have seen small buttons in many websites that are usually 80×15 pixels in size, sometimes slightly bigger.
These became more and more visible mainly to represent feed-readers that people used to read the RSS feeds of the various blogs they liked.
Over the time the practice of reading feeds through feed-readers has somewhat changed, and that means these buttons are less in view in different blog-sites.
Though the charm is surely less, these buttons can still serve good purpose, maybe as ads. If you’re a graphics person there is no reason why you cannot easily make them in your favorite imaging software.
This video is for those website owners who are not into graphics, or those who want a convenient way of making the buttons at a minimum time.
The web buttons have 2 parts, left and right. You can alter the width of each part, the colors you use in each part and also that of the borders.
I’ve discussed 3 online apps where you can easily make web buttons. In the last one you can include images in the button, but in that case you have to first create the images that have the perfect sizes to accommodate.
