World Wide rave – it’s a term coined by David Meerman Scott, and he has a reason for that.
David says he doesn’t like ‘viral marketing’ because it sort of has an uncanny similarity with those avoidable words like virus, worm, etc, so better to avoid it!
The video that I produce below is where he speaks about his perception of how to create a rave over something.
Veteran marketers opine viral marketing is like riding on the tiger’s back. If you have some amount of control on the events that follow the big event, viral marketing can be a like a lifetime opportunity to success, fame, and maybe fortune.
More often than not, people can hardly create a rave about themselves, something that can catapult them into a higher orbit.
David has a book with the same name, How To Create World Wide Rave. In the video he reveals 6 main points one should focus on to marketing oneself successfully. Check it out.
And yes, don’t forget to watch this Amazon video on David’s book.
